Happy New Year and have a great 2008 everybody!
The first of January has been a split day for me, and as for many others that went to sleep in the early hours of today and woke up in the later afternoon...
Didn't wake up until 4pm and thought my Mum was having a laugh when she woke me up to the great words "we're going to grans for dinner in a half hour - up and ready"
Granny and Grandpa's is not the place you want to be in a hungover state!
...I'm pretty sure my Mum was feeling the same herself.
I love the braking of new year! The counting down from ten at the bells - everybody merry and partying the night away...nothing like it.
Was a great night, around 3am thought it might have been a great opportunity to bring out the board games as a little test of general knowledge - knowing fine well that at this time everyone's brain was fried...including mine but, it seemed to get everyone interested...and what a laugh it was!!!! I love it when the person clearly the most drunk tries to act sober and intelligent!...hahaha!
Anyway, for now I'm off to bed - I don't know why I'm tired, I have slept for a total of 13 hours today but ohwell...
